If entrepreneurs are matadors in this metaphor, than the 2000 pounds of bull bearing down on us has been COVID-19. Many of us could have easily closed up shop, signed up for unemployment, and moved on, realizing the tight pants and cheering crowds weren’t enough. Some had no choice and have already started to move on.

But if you’re still here with me, fighting to survive, taking care of your customers and employees both, still busting your rear end to continue to make a difference… you, my friend, are a matador too. Let’s see what we can do to help each other out from under all this bull!

In order to serve as many people as possible while also helping to ensure public safety, Hire A Housewife is now available to clean businesses deemed Essential Services as well as businesses that are closed at this time, in order to help keep them ready to reopen or be re-purposed.

Not only are we helping you with something that you may not have the manpower and/or ability to take care of, we will help you show your customers that their health and safety are important to you!

Hire A Housewife will soon begin sharing a list of local business each week who are taking advantage of our services. As we are also a huge supporter of Peoria Music Live, cross-promotion means that list will be shared with over 10,000 local followers each week.

Keep your place of business safer for your employees and clients, and we’ll let people in the Peoria Area know how much you care.

From cleaning restrooms, to wiping down merchandise and store shelves, to wiping down customer service areas or even your delivery vehicles, we will fully customize our services to your specifications and charge you a flat hourly fee.

Because our typical structure in terms of costs and timing are more conducive to residential cleaning, we are implementing a new plan for businesses who need help with cleaning & disinfecting during the coming months.

Customers will be notified and updates will appear here if any changes need to be made. This is our first time working with these terms, so we may need to make adjustments based on feedback or experience.

Hire A Housewife will provide:

  • Cleaning & Disinfecting Sprays

  • Paper Towels

  • Cleaning Rags (Used only at one place of business each day, and sanitized daily by us.)

  • Hard work

  • Helpful, positive attitudes

To prevent cross contamination between clients we won't be able to provide:

  • Mops

  • Mop buckets

  • Scrub brushes

  • Vacuum cleaners

  • (Anything that can’t be fully sanitized between places of business)

Our task list for your business is fully customizable for any business and budget. We will work quickly while being thorough and making sure not to disrupt your customers’ experience.

Cost: $50 per hour with a 30 minute minimum.
Schedule us one time, or on a rotating daily, weekly, or bi-weekly basis.

Availability: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm, Subject to availability.
(Other days of the week & times may open up depending on demand.)

You give us your task list and budget, and we’ll get something set up for you!

Payment and Terms of Service:
We accept, cash, check, and credit cards through PayPal
Gift certificates can be electronic or physical,
(Smaller denominations so we can use them for giveaways & employee incentives are appreciated.)
For one-time appointments, payment is required prior to or at time of service.
For recurring appointments, a minimum deposit of $200 or $150/$50GC is required.
After the first week, we will invoice (and payment will be due) weekly.

Many businesses are struggling right now, so we will do what we can to help each other out. Weekly invoicing will help me keep my employees paid without expecting too much up front from other small business owners. You can opt to pre-pay monthly as well. (Check out the discounts available)

Discounts Available:

  • With prior authorization, up to 25% of your bill can be paid with gift certificates (not coupons) to your business.
